This video has incorrect info. Early on, some geneticists may have theorized that M35 originated in the nebulous "middle east", but it has been widely held by geneticists for at least a few years now that M35 originated in east africa. The most likely area is ethiopia (or the surrounding region), where it is most diverse and the oldest variants of M35 are found.
Egypt is in east Africa. The video begins with Egypt.
